CONSIGNMENT INFORMATION
We are pleased to
offer consignment sales of new and nearly new equestrian show apparel at
EQUI-MARKET.
You will be asked to sign a consignment agreement and supply a list of
articles you wish to consign. An overview of the agreement is

your consignment articles.

thoroughly.
CONSIGNMENT
AGREEMENT (OVERVIEW):
The Consignor
agrees to a consignment period of not less than three months. If item(s)
remain unsold after the three month period the Consignor will be
required to pick-up the item(s) within 2 weeks of notification,
otherwise the item(s) becomes the property of Equi-Market and will be
sold for the benefit of charity. Articles are available for pick-up
during normal store hours of operation.
Consignment
articles are left entirely at owner’s risk. Equi-Market will not be
held responsible for loss due to fire, theft or accidental damage.
All articles
consigned must be CLEAN and in nearly new condition and will be accepted
for consignment at the discretion of Equi-Market. Used Helmets are
never accepted for consignment.
A fee of 25% of
the selling price of your consignment article will be charged. If the
article is purchased using a credit card or bank card a further charge
of 3% of the selling price for that item will be charged. There are no
additional charges for purchases made by cheque or cash. GST will be
charged on all purchases at Equi-Market. You will receive the GST
collected on your consignment article. Consignment payments are made
first week of every month or you may carry a store credit
balance. You may also wish to donate the proceeds from your sales to
area equine clubs. Equi-Market proudly supports the local 4H and Pony
Club organizations. (please ask for details).
